I am 18 years and a form 3 Student at the Bolgatanga Senior High School. I am a beneficiary of the Eastwood Anaba Scholarship Scheme instituted in 2017. The scholarship has enabled me to pursue my senior high school education. This is because I lost my dad and I am being catered for by my mum who works as a ‘kayayo’ (porter) in Kumasi. Though I gained admission to the Bolgatanga Senior High Secondary School, my mum could not buy my school items. Thankfully, I was selected as a recipient of the scholarship which enabled me buy a chopbox, provisions, school bag and mattress among others. This also made it possible for me to report at school on time. I am so grateful for this kind gesture which has made it easy for me to pursue my education.

I am extremely grateful to EAM for this comprehensive screening they have conducted for us. Though I have experienced one such screening exercise, it was just for my eyes. However, receiving this comprehensive package from you including laboratory examination coupled with the rich Word of God we received is a major blessing. The truth is I am very happy to be here at this opportune time because there is no way I could afford to do such a comprehensive health check for free.
