EAM USA Adopts School in Bolgatanga, Ghana

EAM USA > Business > EAM USA Adopts School in Bolgatanga, Ghana

Four Rivers International School has become the newest partner in a life-changing commitment as EAM USA adopts the school in Bolgatanga. This collaboration strengthens our mission to give every child access to a nurturing learning environment, strong values, and opportunities that open their future. With this support, the school can expand its resources, enhance academic programs, and invest in the growth of both students and teachers. It marks a practical step toward raising confident, well-equipped young people who will shape the next generation of leadership in the Upper East Region and beyond.

In a developing country and a region such as the Upper East Region, the young who are tomorrow’s leaders need a high quality, carefully structured and above all Christ- centered foundation in education which emphasizes the tenets of moral training to prepare them not only for their professions but also the changes and challenges of life. This approach to education will equip them to be of service to our nation.

This led to the inception of the Fountain Gate International School now Four Rivers International School (FRS), a Christian Educational Institution whose sole aim is producing Champions for tomorrow on the 7th of September 1999 with four preschool classes and a population of —children. It is a church affiliated private school situated along the Tamale-Paga Highway in Bolgatanga, the capital of the Upper East Region with a mandate to develop children, of all race and cultural backgrounds.

Informing, Instructing, Inspiring and Investing in learners to be involved in the transformation of nations.

FRS re-echoes the words of the 2nd President of the USA John Adams who said, “There are two educations; one should, teach us how to make a living and the other how to live”. The former refers to academic education and the latter to moral education.

FRS is accredited by the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) of the Ghana Education Service.

With emphasis on academic excellence and moral fortitude, an efficient supervision is provided to ensure effective teaching and learning in a friendly environment where children are assured to grow in Christ-likeness, confidence and competence with proven character and capacity.
